The ApplePies International Conference (Applications in Electronics Pervading Industry, Environment and Society) is held yearly at the University of Rome, La Sapienza.
The Conference intends to provide an opportunity of reciprocal meeting and knowledge on industrial and research activities for academicians, practitioners, and managers who operate in the field of electronic applications. Industrial liaisons and business-academy dialogue and collaborations are specifically targeted.
The program involves presentations about original research works and achievements and panels and discussions on the latest trends in electronic applications.
Application domains of interest include, but are not limited to: health-care, automotive, intelligent transportation systems, environment, energy, space, grids, cultural heritage, gaming and entertainment, learning.
Enabling technologies include, but are not limited to: embedded systems, sensors and actuators, information and communication technologies, (open source) electronic platforms, single-board computers, nano-technologies, cyber-physical systems, human-computer interaction, system engineering.
